Welcome to another episode of the Blacksmith’s Furnace. This week join the hardest hitting two thirds of the furnace, The heavy hitters Mo and Pete, as they address the topic of physical aesthetics and the definition of beauty in the world and church today!
It was again shot for shot during Sorry Not Sorry today. Pete threw out the same question as he did last week asking Mo to provide a defence for what he believes regarding salvation and Mo asks Peter how Abraham marrying his half sister Sarah when the bible explicitly states such should not happen!
We then go on to talk about beauty and it’s definition in society today, and how social media and our faith should inform that definition. It was particularly interesting to see how the same topic generated a similar but uniquely different conversation between Pete and Mo than it did between Rob and Pete.
For our hookups Pete suggested checking out the Prophecy Pros podcast wherever you listen to podcasts, as the name suggests it’s a podcast about biblical prophecy and it’s relevance in society today!
He also suggested checking out a great book, The Last Eve: Mystery of Sanctification by Shan Lu.
It’s a great read, written by a lovely lady of God with a passion to see people has a life transforming relationship with God!! so definitely check it out!! It’s available on Amazon here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Last-Eve-Mystery-Sanctification-Book/dp/B08HT864QY/ref=sr_1_1?crid=E3X9R7Q43TUS&dchild=1&keywords=mystery+of+sanctification+shan+lu&qid=1602364051&sprefix=shan+Lu+the+mystery+%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-1
Mo also suggested checking out the video that sparked Pete’s Sorry not Sorry question and challenges you to also think about how you would communicate the gospel to those around you!
